I like good communication and I am generally a repeat customer if the product is good. Product vs Price is a big part of the equation for me not the other way around. Thank you.

Mirosoft Surface R/T the right step towards mobile usage.
6 of 7 found this helpful The Surface R/T is a great device to use a laptop replacement, what it lacks in Apps from MS store it makes up in functions from the Operating System. It has a full version of Windows 8.1 (free upgrade from 8) which allows you to truly multitask and supports many user accounts.
If you have children you can monitor the other accounts activity for web usage etc. The RT is a premium tablet not to be understand but it's name R/T, it runs 2GB or Ram and a Arm Terga 3 processor with apx 8 hours of usable battery life. If you purchase the case/keyboard it allows you to turn this little 10 inch device into a full computer to type documents, edit spreadsheets, create a new database in MS DB or wow you boss with a power point presentation, and the best part is it is a full copy of office not google docs or other versions.
MS has really tried hard to develop apps to compete with Android and Apple however it's store has not reached the same supported apps yet. But for the lack of apps it has you can use remote desktop to connect to another Win8 machine and use all of the native X86 supported apps that pro allows you to do with out remote desktop. This tablet is an excellent movie player with an HD screen and vibrant colors, the R/T screen is not the best on the market however your HD movies will still look fantastic. Microsoft was late in the game with this tablet and as so it's missing GPS, but again I use my phone and GPS unit for directions so for me that was not a deal breakers.
To the negative about this, again it's not an X86 chip so all your win7-down apps will NOT work unless you use Remote desktop and connect to another machine. Means you have to be in the house with that machine. Next the screen although HD is a little grainy compared to Samsungs tablets and you can see very very slight pixels with your eyes if you get really close to the machine (Surface R/T 2 solved these issues). Lastly 2GB or Ram is enough but not what I really want from a Laptop replacement along with the 32Gb internal storage being almost half used from the OS so it's really 15 GB or so (with that said the external store option allows you as much space as you need.

Old but still operational for todays computing needs.
In 2013 this computer still holds it weight against other machines for Email, Web usage, and watching moves. With the use of HTML5 built in natively you can still use most web pages in both normal and mobile mode. Streaming movies from Netflix's or other Flash sites may be tricky as they do not support the PPC processor, however watching a DVD or most downloaded movies is easy and handles well on the machine.
I recommend buying only the 1.3+ processors, MAXING out the RAM to 2GB, loading OSX 10.5 and installing Mplayer and VLC. If you have an android phone that is on 4.0 or higher you will need Sync Mate in order to use the phone as a storage device to copy over files. You can also sync contacts with it on the calendar and email/sms contact. Using Camino and Tenfour Fox will ensure that you can use almost all web content minus a few site as stated before.
Itunes, works well even if it's an older version and you can purchase ilife for it as well, since you all the software is older it will be a fraction of the price for newer versions. This machine is great for kids or people who don't stream a lot of movies, or someone looking to edit photos or create music in Garage band.
Insignia NS15MS0832 WiFi 32 GB Black 8" windows O/S

Best Windows Tab for the money
The Insignia NS15MS0832 is different than the Flex which seems to be only Android. This is a Windows 8.1 w/Bing tablet that is free upgradable to Windows 10. When using this in 8.1 touch mode is great smooth as can be but feels limited. The functions work very well however the duplication to do single actions present them self's a lot. Upgrading to Windows 10 make sure you either have a 4GB or more external SD card in or have a clean slate tablet. The process on Wifi @ 25mbps takes apx 1 hour to complete, plus install time.
Once using Windows 10 on this device you will notice it scales better and has full PC function, battery life is apx the same as it was before though. I managed 3.2 hours out of this devices with the screen brightness turned down. The screen is an IPS and does display well but the quality is not the same as the Atom Surface3 tablet. However based off the price it's very good! There are speakers on the back that put out enough sound is a quite room but headphones will be needed in an office or living room. This does have expandable storage with Win 10 up to 2TB ability. I've only used 128GB micro SD though. You can install most apps and Win32 apps to the External SD card. Choose a good card as this can slow down the performance. While running Kodi on the external SD card I did not notice any lag compared to my Surface 3.
This 8inch tablet does have the ability to use desktop mode or tablet mode. When in Tablet mode I feel this things is a little unpolished but easier to use when touching. When is desktop mode plugged into a screen via HDMI micro it scales well with no lag. I have not seen if it supports miracasting but it does support a microusb to USB adapters to use the Xbox 360 wired controller and the Xbox 1 USB dongle for the wireless controller.
As far as apps there are a lot more in Windows 10 but still not as many as Android. However the ability to use full desktop apps limits the need for those 'Modern" apps. I can watch Hulu(.)com with out using the Hulu + app and Netflix works off the site vs. the Modern App ( I do prefer the modern Universal app though). Using MS office there is min lag unless using ACCESS DB or a LARGE Excel spread sheet. While using Chrome and Mozilla I was able to open 10 tabs at once with min issues.
This machine for under 200 dollars really is a deal. This truly is a PC on the go, there is NO LTE in the version I purchased so I can not review the connection with it. However using my phone as a hotspot I was able to get 20mpbs off Speedtest (.)net. I wish it did have a USB dock and come with a full size USB port, to use it as a real PC. The Insiginia device could replace a small office PC provided you have an external storage option. For consumer usage this thing does it all, but won't run ADOBE well or any real PC games, however an old version of Halflife does run with my BT keyboard.
Side note:
Charging time is a bit slow and does need Wall power or USB 3.0. Other wise this thing is great for the price!!
