I ve been doing this for twenty years now. I guess I could make myself more professional and chase the almighty dollar, but while the money is good, the fun is in the hunt. I ll never get over the joy of amateurism.
I was looking for a terrible movie but this wasn't terrible enough.
I was looking for a terrible movie but this wasn't terrible enough. Cheap cheesy computer-generated imaging, lousy acting, lame script (It's borrows very much from Jaws.). Still, something didn't go wrong enough. Why can't you make a movie like this worse? Warning: No bare breasts.

The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit ~ The Movie
Stick to the book. The movie wasn't able to, or didn't attempt to portray the one-size-fits-all world of the 1950s, and the horror it inflicted on the people who lived in that decade. Beyond that, the performances by the actors were stiff cardboard. I have the feeling they realized they were making a movie just for the money, and that it would be forgotten soon.
If you want an idea of the limitations of Hollywood back then and the restrictions on the movie making industry, this is good for that.
