Good for thicker stocks
Nice hooks for a thick gun, should work well with a shot gun, either pump or auto loader. But, not so good for a traditional rifle, these are too wide for that use, If its not already in the description a sketch of dimensions would be good for buyers before buying. I have a Hawkins black powder hanging on the wall with hooks that measure about 1.75 inches wide that hold it just right. Other wise seem to be a good hook and will fine a use for them somewhere. They probably would work good for a ar15 with the A2 hand guards also.
