Good filter without surprises
Transition from stop band to pass band starts at about 490 nm and reaches 90% transmittance at 559 nm, and after 600 nm transmittance is almost constant 96-97%. The filter easily attaches to the lens.

Awesome device, but power output in the description (1mW) is a gross understatement
1 of 1 found this helpful Pros:
* Solid, durable enclosure
* Ergonomic shape and size
* Tight button, so that you're unlikely to accidentally turn the light on.
* Nice unusually-looking deep cyan color of the laser beam.
Cons:
* Needs Li-ion batteries of uncommon size and voltage (compared to AA), which are generally less safe than NiCd and the likes and much more expensive.
* A bit heavy, even without a battery
Additional comments: power output is much larger than 1mW given in the description. It's easily to see from the fact that the spot is brighter than that of a 10 mW 532 nm laser. Actual power of the item is 60 mW (note the 60 in the model number, 488T-60-F-W). This moves the device from laser safety class 3R to class 3B.
