Good for beginners, Bad for old school fans.
its not what I expected, this is NOT, I repeat NOT a collection of the old Dossier cards sold with the figures, but rather a discertation more or less about each of many of the characters featured in the IMAGE version of GI Joe, which does not include some of the old favorites, like Seargant Slaughter I could not find, the back stories, Grades, and specialties both primary and secondary are included with the characters but not the weapons the characters are proficient in, like it does not say Snake Eyes is proficient in many close quarters weapons systems and whatnot.
And all the characters are shown as they appear in the IMAGE comics, NOT the 80,s cartoon, to all the purists out there, I would take a hard pass on this and collect the dossier cards instead, piecemeal, but anyone else just wants to know the stories behind most of the major players, this is a good first step into the franchise, although the appearances are a bit different between the two renditions, Scarlett no longer has a one piece leotard over a blue bodysuit with gold high heel boots and gloves with a ponytail, now she has a body suit with shoulder pads and a short cut with hair over one eye, like an alternate universe version or something.

good camera but hard to work with
It is a little tricky to use, and I needed to go online for the manual but otherwise it is a good camera.

Good book, thorough, small maps, though, book in good shape, well preserved.
I like the fact the info for the game is thorough and concise, that is to be expected, however, of ALL game guides, and the maps are a bit smaller than I would have liked, I think I remember the Nintendo Power guide having bigger maps, same info,and even a pullout centerfold map of the worlds.
I still like this book and would recommend it for anyone on a budget and with good 20 / 20 eyesight, else they can either get reading glasses, as i do, a set of '2.50 +', works for me just fine, can get a pair at a local Goodwill or Dollar Tree for 1 to 2 dollars, cheap, or else just enlarge the maps by scanning them with a printer and printing them off, one by one, or if you wish to alter the maps for some reason scan them into your hard drive, and do what you want, then print off the edited versions, be wary of copyright infringement if you mean to upload this stuff, even if you give credit where due, still sketchy proposition.
