You could use these as daytime running lights if you needed to.

These are BRIGHT. I can clearly see the instrument panel indicators they're showing in broad, high-noon daylight.

Good bulb--strange quirk?

Nice and bright, but directed and not necessarily blinding. My only gripe is there is a 1-3 second delay when switching between the high and low beams, sometimes with a weird stutter like it can't 'decide' what it needs to do.
