Great Speaker, Bass not so much
Very disappointed in the bass response, my older JBL Extreme sounded much better, had bigger deeper bass on all songs, other than that the unit is great. I read all the data on the tests and they all said the bass was better than the JBL Exteme...uh, no.
Some songs actually sound flat, especially the older music. The newer tunes sound pretty good as if more up to date recording technology is translated better through the speaker. That was the one thing that really impressed me about the original JBL Extreme was that the stuff recorded back in the 60's had great bass, better than in the original recordings. Oh well.
