Fuel line clamping pliers

I purchased this product and it isn't worth throwing away. I tried it on a new 1/4 and a new 3/8 inch fuel lines and this product would not stop the flow of fuel. I could return it but buyer pays return shipping. ( It's a rip-off) Threw it in the trash.
