Unbelievable...
After going through 2 electrolux oxygen vacuums, wheels broke, lack of suction, I decided to try my friends animal. I first vacuumed my house with the 3rd electrolux I own, then broke out the animal DC17. Unbelievable! This thing sucks...I live at the beach with two little dogs and between the hair and the sand I thought I had one of the best vacuums around, was I wrong. I just can't explain how much dirt came up! I bought the animal that same day. Consumer reports puts the animal at number 7 and my old electrolux at a 4. I don't think CR puts them through the long haul. Seem to me that the Electrolux just kept on losing suction. My friends animal is at least 6 months old and they have yet to of lost suction.

Chrome finish is terrible
The chrome finish is terrible. It looks like they ground the bumper with 80 grit then just chromed it... If your looking for a smooth chrome finish like the original, forget it... I have to say it fit without any issues....
