Phonex 650-1300 on sony A200
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a well made lens with big magnifaciation but it's heavy. The construction is not the best because if you put on a stand and make it all a way to 1300 mm then the mounting is around the middle and there is a lot of weight to the camera side. You have to have very good (means expensive) tripod to support it. Also remote contoll or timer shutter is recomended in order to avoid blur pictures. It works only in full manual mode but its easy to focus.
I recomend this lens to those who don't want ot spend too much but would like to have a big time zoom lens.
