Great Fleet Decoder
This NCE decoder is just the thing to use as a fleet decoder. It is inexpensive and has the basic decoder settings. The decoder is small and will fit in all of the desired locomotives that i have tried to use it in. It has the basic 9 pin JST connector which has straight wires with no 8 pin connector. Very easy to install if the model has a DCC ready board or you can solder the wires as needed. I am very happy with this item and suggest it for use by those that have a need for a cheap fleet decoder.

Just Fair manufacturing
The spindle itself is great and was an exact fit. The problems were the threading on the four bolt holes. I had to run a tap through them to clean them out. And one of the holes was slightly off center. Not enough to make the spindle not fit but still shoddy workmanship. The four bolts supplied had to be replaced, the heads were totally off centered of the bolt shaft. As i said, the spindle itself is a great piece.

Excellent tools
Kedee #246 2-56 Taps and drills. They are a quality tap and drill set that come packaged just for the modeler. Having the required drill for the tap and also a clearance drill makes it easy to get the job done. You don't have to get separate drill bits as they all are in the one package. The price for all three included items is a good value. If buying them as separate items, it would cost much more.
The tap is self clearing so it doesn't get clogged up like a bottom tap would.
