Excellent performance, not so good value
3 of 3 found this helpful Yes, the Ortofon SH-4 black headshell is a great addition to my collection of bayonnet headshells. I keep one cartridge on each headshell at all times.
The flexible leads are of high quality, but that's it. I can find competing headshells for half the price, so I find no compelling reason to purchase another Ortofon SH-4 headshell. At first sight, it's an anodized or painted piece of aluminum.

Cartoon memory lane: say Oui, not Sí.
I grew up watching the Pink Panther cartoon (from the 60s, not the crappy stuff from the 70s and 80s), as so I'm very familiar with Inspector Clouseau, Dodo and the Chief, as well as with those surreal villains.
Now, with my 52-year-old eyes, the drawings seem basic and flat, and the humor silly. However, the plots are always engagingly innocent, harking back to an era where funny cartoons didn't mean the latest 3D animation technologies (cough, Nickelodeon, cough).
