Makita quality combined with great ergonomics, smooth power, loaded with features.
We do not usually write reviews, but this Makita XSH03Z cordless circular is very impressive and we felt compelled to share our thoughts.
We had used a Makita BSS611 for years, great saw, did everything we needed and more, but an upgrade was in store.
The XSH03Z is built with lots of details, high quality materials, superb ergonomics, the brushless motor has a different power band than the bss611, smooth, very powerful, blade speed is as fast a corded saw in plywood cuts, with no noticeable drop.
The built in LED light, blower to keep lines clear and visible is very nice.
The blade guard flips up easily and the lever area is big enough for your thumb to have a good control and the Makita blue color makes it easier to see.
Blade depth and miter controls are easy to use, lock and un-lock and hold true while cutting.
The battery indicator is nice with it located directly under the handle, it is easy to check levels.
The built in hanging handle is nice, Makita recommends to remove the battery when using it, not sure how viable that is, are people really going to take the battery out to use the hanging handle?
We will close with this: The saw is the top of the line cordless brushless out there, pricey? We think not with all the bells and whistles and when you can make projects easier and be more productive also = Homerun

Terrible blades
We needed some new utility blades and I have always had great quality from Milwaukee tools and accessories until now.
These drywall blades are junk! The metal is cheap, chips, doesnt hold an edge.
The blades are not abused, just being used, cutting drywall, cutting Tyvek, fine detail work for locksets installation, general home tasks.
Very disappointed, would never purchase again.

maybe 10 minutes from opening box to the lift being ready to work.
The lift is perfect for our needs remodeling our home, save your back and let the lift easily do the lifting
