Wish I had bought this sooner!
1 of 1 found this helpful After my ancient Hoover died, nothing else could compare. I bought several uprights over the last few years, and they all left me disappointed. That has all changed!
This vacuum is lightweight, and has great suction - even in those hard to reach places. It does well sucking up dirt along edges of walls & furniture, as well as corners. Slick enough to slide around tight furniture, and the light helps to see in dark spaces. The cord is long enough for me to vacuum the whole main level of my home. Works fantastic on hardwood & tile surfaces - yes, it actually PICKS UP the dirt, not just blow it around! I can't speak much about use on carpets, as I've only used it on a large doormat, but it works well for that. All of the attachments make it easy to clean any surface, from floors, couches and curtains, to cobwebs, stair banisters and window tracts.
The ONLY thing I do not like about this vacuum, is that it is top-heavy and cannot stand on it's own. It either has to be rested against something, or hung on the wall mount. But when I weigh out all the pros & cons, this is definitely something I can live with.
If only I had bought this unit sooner!
