NEW AMD RYZEN 7 1800X 8-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM4 YD180XBCAEWOF Desktop Processor

Wow, this thing is fast!
I installed this on an Asrock AB350M Pro4 microATX motherboard with 32 GB (2x16) RAM, running Virtual Machines. I assigned a few GB of RAM and 2 cores to each VM. Performance is excellent in the guest VMs. So far, host CPU utilization is in the low single digits.

Genuine Dell 130W 19.5V PA-4E Laptop Power Supply Charger LA130PM121 VJCH5

E-series docking station necessity
The newer Dell E-series notebooks come with a slim 65 watt AC adapter. That works well if you are carrying it around and just powering your notebook. The slim 65 watt AC adapter does not provide enough power to use with the E-series docking station. If you want to use the docking station (not to mention the external keyboard, mouse, DVD, speakers, USB hub, USB drive, memory stick, GPS, cell phone, digital camera, etc. plugged into it) you really need the larger 130 watt power supply. (Your laptop will warn you if you don't.) While you can carry around the 130 watt power supply, it is physically larger and heavier than the 65 AC adapter. I would keep the 130 watt power supply hooked up to a docking station and carry the 65 watt adapter with the laptop. Older Dell E-series laptops come with the 130 watt power supply. You may want a second power supply to leave hooked to your docking station, but don't absolutely have to have one.
