Minor tweaks could make this product perfect...
I bought this as a pet gate for a dog who like to find her way across the normal height gates. For that purpose, it is PERFECT. A few very minor gripes, that I would have liked.
1) I wish the gate door was a little wider. I’m not a big guy at all, but it’s kind of narrow.
2) The handle to release the latch itself is fine, but the latch is a little annoying. It holds securely when latched, but the design makes it less functional than it could be, and it catches on the other side often when trying to open the door.
3) The included extension was necessary and appreciated. It made for a very snug fit in the doorway. So while the gate is held steady, I couldn’t use the screw mounted doorway mounts to hold the rubber gaskets in place. I wish they had included an additional extension, slightly smaller. But I understand costs and what not.
Like I said, very small gripes. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase and does exactly what I needed it to do. I’d easily recommend.
