Allows you to add refrigerant to an appliance
4 of 4 found this helpful Most appliances don't have ports to add refrigerant. So, if there is a leak, you are pretty much going to need one of these. I installed it on a small deep freeze. It was easy to install and doesn't leak. The connection is the standard type likie used on old r-12 or a home ac unit. You can use it as is or use an adapter if you are needing 134a and just have a car style gauge set or one of the diy cans.

It works
I added 3 cans of this to my R22 system around 4 years ago because it would not hold a charge more than 2 days. It's still cold today.

Good hitch, take your time.
Other than fishing the nuts into the bumper, installation is a breeze.
