Very Stylish
The Baoer 388 Rollerball was a pleasant surprise. It is a quality pen for less than $5.00, you can't beat that! The brushed steel with gold trimming gives the pen a sleek and stylish look. I have had several compliments on how good looking it is. The pen writes smoothly, almost effortless. It is well balanced, posted or unposted so no complaints on performance. It comes with a .05 ink insert which is a "Fine" point. I prefer a "medium" point so I will replace it with a .07 ink insert at a later date. However, that is just my personal preference. The pen will write beautifully wether you use a fine or medium point insert. The arrow clip is nice, fits smoothly into your shirt pocket. That I like as some pens nearly tear the pocket off your shirt as there is no give in the clip. Not so with my Baoer 388. All in all, a great looking pen with quality and performance to match. Get one!

Solid & Well Built
This QR plate fits my tripod perfectly. Solid build, well made. My D7200 sits very secure on my tripod, no worries, no problems. Performs better than expected. Also, the item arrived one month sooner than anticipated, great turnaround.

Pleasantly Surprised
1 of 1 found this helpful My Jinhao 599 just arrived and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the performance. Both the medium and the fine nibs performed well. Ink distribution was consistent with both nibs. Not too wet nor too dry. Writes very smoothly with both nibs and there is no skipping. (Hurrah!) The Fine nib actually felt better than the Medium nib. The Fine nib writes a bit smoother in my opinion where as the Medium tends to be just a bit more "scratchy". However, this didn't detract from my experience with the pen and should not be a deal breaker. There is one "sore spot": the ink.
All my ink cartridges arrived as unusable. All 5 of them leaked so I tossed them. Maybe you'll have better results with the ink. It was no big deal as I've got plenty ink to last from here to Armageddon. I like this pen so much I still give it 5 stars! Just be aware of the ink situation. As for the pen itself; it has a good quality build, feels nice in my hand and performs exceptionally well for it's price point. Considering the German alternative this is by far the better way to go. Like I said, a very pleasant surprise.
