Westone diffidently knows the sound business. two thumbs up

OK, first let's address the price. Well worth it if you can score them under 250.00. Only regret & let me say not much of one, is that these do not have the breakaway cord; if you move around on stage it helps not having your ear canal inverted by you pulling on the cord and the guitar player stepping on it at the same time. Mainly bought them for the driver's; bass * mid range * treble * Three separate frequency drivers. They have preformed above all expectations in the bass end. Now when I set my preamp to the house, I hear the whole scale of the bass end without having to dial up my gain and preamp. They could provide a better case, pelican 1030i would be my recommendation. Summary, I spent the money do to the fact most in the ear monitors cannot reproduce the b string on the lower scale without losing tone. Comes with all the ear bud's you need to fit your head. This also came with a small amp size of a ipod shuffle. It lets you go between your source and boost the amps up so the drivers can hit. I would have graded this at 4.5 on the scale But, there is a amp thrown in for free. So its a fiver! The -0.5 is for the wired hard earphones. Asset to any musician or someone who loves to listen to really good music.
