These drive are solid and reliable, but far from quiet. A little hint, it takes these drive about 10-15 seconds to spin up and be ready.

Good, inexpensive solution to a stupid problem.

Replaced the garbage unit in my Ryzen-equipped Lenovo Flex 14 (Intel won't allow Lenovo to sell AMD equipped hardware with Intel WiFi/BT modules) with this, and it works great. Windows automatically recognized it and I was up and running.

Great little unit, some minor flaws.

The Genesis and SNES emulations are really close, but the NES is really hard to emulate. This unit has the same issues as many other clone NES units have. IE, poor sound emulation on select titles, Castlevania III and Crystalis. Slight color palette issues that isn't a deal breaker. This unit is well constructed and easy to use. The included controllers are pretty solid. The ability to use original controller all around is a great feature, plus it's not messy like the Retron 3. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase of the Super Retro Trio.
