UDR 8485 Light Kit, and my experience with it.
1 of 1 found this helpful I had a 3D printed light kit on the UDR. It was cheap and when I installed it I thought it was bright. That is till I got the Traxxas light kit. The 8485 light kit was at least 3 times brighter and it's still at least 2 times brighter on low beam. The light kit without a Traxxas link has 3 settings. Low beam, high beam, and just the rear lights only. Brake lights work on all three settings. The light kit was fairly easy to install and doesn't take all the ports on your receiver up leaving it open for extra fans to keep the motor cool, extra "fog lights" or anything else that might be of interest. Probably the best part is the lights are installed in such a way that in a crash, they 9 out of 10 times won't even be touched. Body is a little hard to get on after they are on, but that's the only issue I've come across. The button to set the modes right on the amplifier is very easy to get to (if you don't have the Traxxas link), but very well protected from debris, stones, etc, as well as hidden well in case of a crash. The button can be accessed thru the driver's side front wheel well opening (as long as your hands aren't as big as The Hulk's). Definitely worth the money if you need light on your drives.

Lower gearing for the Summit
Finding a Twelve tooth or less, 32 pitch pinion Gear was harder than expected. This one works great for the Summit without any mods to the summit or the gear itself. I have a lot more torque for low speed crawling now, even in high range. The seller shipped quickly and I received it the same day it was estimated to be there.
