More important than the 3000, less important than the 60
The 2000xl would classify either as the best or the worst of Akai, but it mostly boils down either who is advocating the machine and other times it comes down to the machine itself, aka the "build quality". The best MPC model is arguable yet vain between the 60, 3000, and the 2000(xl). That point aside, the 2000xl is undeniably one of them and nobody can actually disagree with you if bring this machine up. Rather, they can only argue about where it ranks.

technically these need to be put in upsidedown…which is odd. other than that, it works. thanks. put in a cobra 148F GTL, the one with a built in frequency counter
