CD player now works again
1 of 2 found this helpful ordered these belts after seeing on youtube that CD player non-operation was probably result of defective belts. opened up the player and sure enough at least one of the belts was stretched beyond use. then ordered the belts and paid extra for genuine Sony belts, thinking better to use them as originals had lasted over 10 years. when belts arrived, promptly and properly packaged, I again opened up the player and everything went onto the pulleys easily. CD player now works again. time will tell if this lasts, but I am feeling good about the whole experience right now. be sure to look at several of the youtube videos so you are comfortable with what you are doing.
