The sweetest sounding Omnichord yet!
This has got to be the most versatile Omnichord yet!. It's got the good old school chord drones and that classic sonic strings sound from the older models, but with 9 other additional voices for the strum plate it's found it's way into so many different productions of mine already. Rhythms might be a little simple to some, but the sounds are good and the patterns are well programmed and interesting rhythms. With all 84 chords of some of the upper models at the time, you're not missing out on any of those lovely Major 7th, Minor 7th, Diminished, or Augmented chords. The chord buttons on this model have such a nice, soft response that is very nice to play on. I'd say if you're thinking about getting an Omnichord, you couldn't have a better start than this one! Only thing it's lacking is MIDI out, although it uses the same circuit board as the MIDI model, just not populated with the components. Might have to mod mine for MIDI in the future!
