Ebay shows only twelve sales. That's just my recent sales! I've been selling here intermittently over the last 25 years, several hundred sales. I've never received a negative feedback.
Much of my 400+ positive feedback was earned when I used to sell a lot of electronics, in particular commercial tape drives etc surplussed after Y2K prep. Most of it tested by me using the factory diagnostics and guaranteed by me to meet OEM specs. More recently, I've just sold miscellaneous things I didn't need.
I wrote in my sales listings that both I and the buyer face a slight risk that a unit wouldn't work as expected. And in that case, I was ready to refund or exchange because I want the customer pleased. Finally Ebay has made this process simpler for the customer, that's good to see.
You might want to add me as a seller you follow. I will be listing a lot of inherited Estate Sale stuff as I get around to it. Household, tools, some farm stuff.

Determine if you need BSPT or NPT pipe threads. (BSPT or NPT is stamped on the valve).
Excellent quality but don't make the mistake I did. I didn't notice that the faulty one I removed from a Taiwan compressor was stamped BSPT (Brit/Asian standard pipe threads). This is NPT. (US standard pipe threads). They look similar but are not compatible. Mis-match won't seal tight.

I've had two for over 10 years. After considerable use they are still flawless and do a great job removing allergens and smoke. Indoor air is kept very clean.
With the severe smoke from California fires, I just bought two more on Ebay for gifts. One has bad noisy motor bearings. The other runs a while then shows Red 'clean filter'. Regardless of washing the included Truman Filter (plate) assembly, or swapping in the clean filter units from my other units. Which don't cause Red in their original locations.
Recommend: Buy only with return privilege! Don't hesitate to send it back for full refund if 'good condition' ... isn't.
And a tip: When cleaning the filter plate assembly be ultra careful of the fine ionization wires on the leading edges of the inner plates! Cleaning everything else is just dishwashing technique.

Note this is 0.01 inch measurements, while a mechanic or machinist uses 0.001 inch
Hundredths of an inch is fine for most use. A mechanic measures thousandths when measuring for a snug but not binding fit of metal parts.
This unit is great for general work. It is a good value for the price.
