Great
The quality of the product is excellent. It's got no smell and leaves no residue. My gf loves it.

Strikes a close to perfect balance (Paris missing, you need the Paris specific book.)
This edition provides a unique blend of not too recent (read: impoverished) not too old (read:redundant.)
In this day and age you've got net with you, almost always. This is where Blue Guide kicks in.
1. It's about the questions you didn't even think about asking.
2. It's "analog" to the point of providing a great counter-balance to the digital augmentation one might have at their disposal.
3. Got no pictures, no recommendations. Great. No pictures means unspoiled fun. No recommendations = that's what tripadvisor, google etc are for.
The only con is Paris is briefly mentioned as they don't want to cannibalise their products. Would have loved for them to have been upfront about it. At any rate, it's not a problem as I don't plan on skimping on Paris, and neither should any serious traveler.
