Sabatier chef knife blanks
Knife project blanks from the renowned old Sabatier factory in France. Blanks are right off the forge and seem to be in various states of the tempering process, some already heat treated, some not. All come with quite a bit of extra material to be ground to your own liking. Understand that there is quite a bit of work involved in finishing these blanks, more than just installing handles, but at the end of the day, you have a chance to own a great chef’s knife that can be handed down for generations at a fraction of the price of new. I am working on the 10” and 6” models, and bought an extra set for my brother in law. All in all, buy these for the fun and satisfaction of the project, not the savings.
