Recommended for sure. Just be careful with connection and any bumping while active
Very inexpensive and finicky connections but it got the job done that I wanted. I wanted to reclaim data on old laptop hard drives before I discarded them. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have been working in my lap while watching TV, but lost then gained (sometimes) the connection with any hint of movement improperly disconnecting the drive while reading/copying. Not recommended. It's not clear how to marry the connector and hard drive. I guessed right on the first one, nothing broke and it looks like it might not fit together if I flipped the connector anyway.
Bottom line they (I ordered two) thankfully reclaimed all my data. Definitely recommend, just be careful connecting and bumping while active.

Does what it's supposed to do
Well constructed. Works much better than the multi-tool which came with my T/C Hawken. A must for your possible pouch.
