It's not really a 1 star it's a negative 5 actually (-5star)

1 out of 4 failed immediately, 2 out of 4 failed within the year. Required modification to install into my 2001 Audi A6. NOT a direct replacement and now have to buy new headlight assemblies to reinstall my original lights because the mechanic had to bend the wire retainer to make it fit around the base of the light and bend it so bad I can't reinstall the originals. Don't buy PROTEKZ I don't know what I was thinking buying $30 LEDs anyway. Definitely shouldn't have been expecting anything more than what I got. "You get what you pay for"

Great DVR, poor camera reliability.

Recommend the DVR but the cameras are substandard, second night in operation and one camera is staying in daytime mode but the infrared lights are on, without the yard light on it's blind. One other camera is not seeing in night as well as the 2 that are working great. I'm buying 4 other manufacturers cameras to replace the failed ones, hopefully they work better. If I have continuing issues I'll be looking for a higher quality system. Need to have reliability in security. To be fair though this was a refurbished unit, who knows what these cameras have endured.
