Sailing from here to there
Traveling from one place to another by power boat or plane usually means pointing your nose toward your destination and just going (or following a great circle for longer journeys). When sailing, it is seldom so simple. Prevailing winds and currents and time of year must be taken into account as well as the speed of the boat at the various points-of-sail.
Because of those factors, the fastest way to sail from the Panama Canal to the Puget Sound is usually via Hawaii. Likewise, the fastest route from point A to point B may be significantly different from the route going back. For centuries, sailors have been figuring these routes.
This book represents a single-source compendium of those centuries of experience, and is vital aboard any sailboat whose owner is planning to voyage more than a few hundred miles.

Bright and economical
They are much brighter than the 50W halogen lamps they are replacing and use only a fifth of the power.

Misleading description
It is NOT an electrical connector; it is just a hollow plastic cover.
