Urnex Cafiza Professional Espresso Machine Cleaning Powder 566 grams 20oz

Works like magic

I've been using this stuff for a few years for cleaning coffee equipment. I use it every other week to clean the 3 way valve and group head on my espresso machine. Its fun watching the coffee colored suds shoot out of the overflow tube, evidence that I'm keeping that nasty stuff out of my coffee. Cafiza rinses clean after a couple of flushes, and doesn't leave any noticeable taste. I also soak the diffuser screen and portafilter baskets periodically. There is always brown foam that comes off of them, even though they appear to be clean. I also use it for cleaning our Bonavita stainless carafe. After an overnight soak in Cafiza, the carafe rinses completely clean. Cool!

Nice little scanner, not for older version of bluetooth.

I originally bought this little bluetooth scanner to work with an iPad 2. As it turned out, the older iPad uses "bluetooth classic" which is configured for bluetooth speakers, but won't pair with this scanner. You need "BLE", the newer version of bluetooth, which isn't compatible with older iOS devices. Oh well. I used the included bluetooth/ USB adapter to pair the scanner with a cheapo Windows laptop. It works fantastic! Once initially paired, the scanner stays paired, so I just need to turn it on to start scanning. Its great having the little cordless scanner instead of the corded one which was always tangled with stuff on the work bench.
