  Item was not brand new as advertised, it was obviously removed from a dryer (mounting screw marks and spade connector marks), but was in very good shape. In spite of that, considering the good price I got it for, I decided to go ahead and install it and it works. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts.

  Thanks for your feedback, but the item is brand new, I bought it thinking that my dryer needed it, but it was a thermal fuse that was bad, I bought it and never used it, sat in my closet for over a year.
