My last one lasted 15 years
My last unit lasted about 15 years, it was probably made in Sweden. This one is very close to my original one, I do not see any signs for alarm now that they are made in China. These are excellent units as they are compact and do not get in the way of long guns/cheek weld.
The independent knobs means no wires running from one to the other side and getting caught or pulled. The battery change issue is a little different but read the instructions and you'll get used to it not being a big deal.
No outside doors means it's more weather resistant and compact.

Well built value
Works as advertised. I needed three hands to hold the breaker bar the block of wood and the blade to loosen each one. This makes blade removal and installation much much easier. Well built, mine came in a box with Excel markings which is the company that makes the mower. Very satisfied.
