I can retire my paring knife
Hey, what do I, a 75 year old man, know about kitchen mandolines. I needed something to uniformly cut tomatoes and cucumbers. This gizmo seems to do a good job and I haven't cut my fingers yet as a bonus. I'll be using my paring knife a lot less from now on. Oh yeah, the device actually arrived two days earlier than promised and in fine, unblemished condition.

Realistic Up To The Point It Became Sci-Fi
The film seemed realistic up to the end when it turned into science fiction, which I loved. I was surprised I hadn't heard of it 20 years ago.
