Fun
If you want to have some fun with this rod, use a metal and a bobber and a split shot, and toss the bait about 20 feet off of the end of the pier in a cold water lake. You'll have a dandy time with bluegills and crappies. But this is not a rod for precision casting or forecasting long distances or for flipping jigs. But for bait and bobber fishing off the pier catching panfish… You and the kids will have a ball
