Love the Astro a40's

Great Alternative to paying the cable company rent on a modem!
First of all, I want to start out by saying, even though I selected "easy to setup", it was, however I was unaware of a few critical steps. Note, to plug in the power cable & ether net cord does not complete your setup! I did not realize that after you have it setup, you need to call your ISP to have them send codes through your new modem to activate for their network! All in all, other than that little snipit of information, it was quite simple to setup & use, & after testing my connection speed, it has not changed a bit, in fact it might have even gone up a Meg or 2. Also, please also note that when you do hook it up, the connectivity light blinks either blue or amber, it does not mean anything is wrong with the unit, it simply detects whether or not it is hooked up to a single meg speed cable, or a multiple (router). Good product, good price, & save money!
