Great story.
This book is a first class treatment of a very under-appreciated theater of WW2.

Love this book
It’s quite simply I one of my favorite books of all time. It’s magical. I simply love it and am very happy to now have a near pristine HB copy of my Own.

A Nice Primer
This book makes for a great primer into the life of a Roman legionnaire and how the Roman army worked. It’s lighthearted, witty, and chock full of good information. The illustrations are very well done. I highly recommend this book.
