JGS4x4 EGR blank replacement kit
Great product from JGS4x4.
Was fairly easy to fit, just needed a tiny bit of persuasion here and there. Well designed for easy access to the underside bolts. Basic mechanical skill required to do it yourself, and the tools obviously. 10mm socket, a ratchet, possibly an extension and a flatblade screw driver. Depending on your mechanical skill level it should take no more than 20 minutes to do.
Works really well and a noticeable difference before even driving it. Idling and revving better as well as easier, smoother start up. I have not driven it yet as the vehicle is SORN but definitely will be a big difference for the better, with benefits such as less turbo lag.
From what I can tell the EGR does not require mapping out of the engine management system.
Looking forward to having some power back and no more carbon gunk circulating around my engine.
Great, high quality modification at a great price. Does the job perfect and being black it looks stealth and sublte in the engine bay fitting in nicely around the plastic engine covers/components.

2 of 2 found this helpful This product seems to cause CANbus error on newer technology cars, I tried it on a 2019 Focus ST-Line X and a 2009 Mondeo Titanium X, when fitted on both cars a CANbus error appears causing the indicators to flash fast. From what I can tell though they look really good and are bright but not blindingly bright so staying subtle at the same time, they would come across like the car had LED's from factory in the first place. I reckon it would be a really good replacement if compatible on your vehicle. Just check first.
