Dell Venue 7 3740 (2014) Model - Great tablet but it needs more RAM!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful The unit is great, has a nice HD IPS screen, the CPU & GPU are really powerfull (AnTuTu + 30K), battery life is around 8 hours of real world use, build quality isOK... unfortunately the mediocre amount of RAM (only 1 GB) kills any chanceof greatness. The older (2013) 3730 model is actually more snappy thanks to having 2 GBs of RAM despite the older generation Atom Chipset.
Good buy if you can get it for less than 100 bucks

Amazing Laptop
3 of 3 found this helpful A great desktop replacement in only 16 inches!
Pros:
The i7Core 720M processor is lightning fast
The 330M nVidia Video Card is adequate for moderate gaming (Med/High Settings at 768p)
Complete keyboard with back-light
6 GBs of DDR3 RAM
High Quality LED Screen
Above average speakers
SoSo:
Noisy DVD-RW Unit
Only 2 hours of battery life
No Windows 7 Professional by default
A bit heavier than most laptops
Cons:
Low resolution screen (1368x768), I agree that 1080p is too much for this size, but 900p sounds about right.
Only 3 USB ports (and 1 eSata/USB Combo)
No Gigabit Ethernet!!!
Overall 9/10
