Beautiful Detail
1 of 1 found this helpful The detail on this model is outstanding. I haven't built it yet but if it is anything like the Halftrack I am building, it is going to be great. Trumpeter has done a fine job with this line of 1/16 scale models. I believe this model has over 2000 parts. The fit is great, very little flash ( if any) on the parts, seam lines are covered in most cases, and on the solid parts it is very small and easily removed. I thought the price was fairly reasonable if you want a model this size with awesome detail. I saw a guy on you tube building this and it made me want to get one. I myself am a SyFi modeler, but in my opinion this model can be made into a work of art and I just had to try it. The only thing I didn't like about this model is that it had a very detailed engine but no fan belts. Now for an experienced modeler that won't be a problem, but really that is the only fault I could find with it. Hope this helps!
