The Fan and Heat Sink were not new, but work fine.
The Fan and Heat Sink were listed as new but obviously were not. The fan blades had gray dust stuck to the blades and there was a wad of dust clogged in the fins of the heat sink. It was easy enough to blast the dust off with an air canister. Which I would have thought the supplier would have done before shipping. Nevertheless, the price was very good and the clean-up quick and easy. I did not use the shipped heat sink since several of the fins were bent and my OEM heat sink was in like new condition. The one nice bonus was that the OEM fan was manufactured by Delta Electronics of China and aside from quitting after five years was always rather noisy. The replacement I was sent was manufactured by Panasonic of Japan (fitting for a Japanese made Toshiba) and is so quiet that I have to open the Toshiba Health Monitor to see when the fan is running. So ask that extra question of who is the manufacturer before buying; there is a difference.

The price is right
I have only had my product for a couple of months and there have been no problems with it, BUT the Assurant Protection Plan was so cheap that it was well worth the 1-year protection plan.... assuming they will live up to their pledge should the product fail.
