Wonder Woman rocks!
So the real gem of this is the bonus Wonder Woman story inside! This tale relays how Wonder Woman switched from the eagle bodice to the one with the stylized winged Ws. But the real meat is her proving her powers in a mini version of the 12 labors story. Instead of her performing before the League she now performs before the Olympians and the Amazons. Apparently, an Amazon is NEVER satisfied and is constantly seeking to increase her powers, abilities, and skills. Therefore even as the powers and energies of the Gods increase over time so too do her own! That was crazy seeing her prove that she is indeed Swifter than Mercury and Stronger than Hercules and is pushing to be even more powerful tomorrow. Amazon culture is fascinating here and I wish the publisher would take this approach over the downplaying of the Amazons it seems bent on during the current regime. All in all a great buy!
