Lindner stamp albums are excellent!
I was debating whether I would buy Lighthouse or Lindner pages for my Mount Athos stamps. Because my stamps came with selvage, the Lindner pockets are better as they are bigger and accommodate the extra dimensions. My only problem was with the shipping costs. Prophila insists on using DHL which charges £30. I bought an album from Davo who charged €15 to ship it by post.

One hit out of three
After the high of AC 2 being ranked one of the best video games of all time, AC 3 has the too familiar setting of revolutionary America. Was this a marketing ploy to appeal to the large US market? However, it is interesting that the protagonist is indigenous, trying to protect his people from the onslaught of European colonists. (Spoiler alert) Also the Oedipal element of killing his father is compelling. However his riding with Paul Revere strains credulity. The second game Liberation is a ham-fisted attempt to create a game that might appeal to girls as its protagonist is one, but this game is not well developed. Black Flag, however, makes this disk worth buying. A great story of pirates of the Caribbean, this game is a great boys’ adventure tale.

An oldie but goodie!
The original Assassin’s Creed was much better than I expected. Some have complained about having to do side quests like pickpocketing or doing informer’s requests, but I found them challenges which were not insurmountable. It was interesting to get the back story to the great sequel, Assassin’s Creed II.
