Sturdy
I finally found a replacement for my really old Craftsman Rechargeable lantern battery. The RayOVac works better than advertised. It charged completely with the charger in a bit less than the instructions called for. Being a Lead Acid, the output voltage is a solid 6 volts, a little higher after the full charge. I like it!!

Perfect Replacement Battery
The battery is the direct replacement part and slid right into the case. The capacity is slightly higher than the original 8v battery. As such, my Sunpack Auto 555 has a faster recycle time in 3-4 seconds after a full power flash discharge.
