worked like the original Dyson component

The receiver is larger than expected. Transmitter requires batteries.
The unit worked well, but the installation was challenging. The receiver was to large to fit inside of ceiling canopy or the electrical box. I was able to install receiver outside of the original electric housing (in my attic) and re-route the antenna. I used with an older Hunter ceiling fan. Just be aware and check your fan canopy and to make certain it will fit.
