Deluxe edition of Bobbie Gentry's second great album!
Deluxe Edition CD of Bobbie Gentry's second album with both Stereo and Mono versions. Booklet goes into great detail about the making of the album and the originality of Gentry's own compositions and her interpretation of compositions by other writers.

Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Richie Valens and other rock'n'roll idols of the'50s hosted by great deejay Allen Freed
This is an excellent period Rock'n'Roll movie. There's a thin story holding it together as an excuse to see performances by Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Richie Valens and other stars of the late '50s. As a bonus you get the deejay credited with coining the term rock'n'roll in Allen Freed and Chuck Berry with lines of dialogue! The other surprise was the high picture quality of this transfer. If you are into this period of rock'n'roll the DVD is highly recommended.

THE GIRL FROM U.N.C.L.E. starred Stefanie Powers in a fun spy series that was the first hour-long drama to star a female lead!
THE GIRL FROM U.N.C.L.E. was a spinoff of THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. during the 1960s spy craze. But it also was the first hour-long drama series starring a female lead! And Stefanie Powers was perfect in the role as April Dancer, a hip stylish spy who wore great clothes and drove fast cars. A lot of fun, especially in the third episode with guest star Boris Karloff in drag!
