Good Range extenders
Upgrading from the HWREG1 due to intermittent problems with the old unit. This one works fine, however, if I had been aware of the HW7ACX unit that also has a built in LAN Router I would have probably gotten that since it would have eliminated one unit in the processing chain.

Works well but some drawbacks ...
The product worked well in our church environment with the computer about 30 feet from the platform. It always responded as it should have. This one was purchased for a church camp and I was comparing it with one we currently use that is more hour glass shaped. This new one was definitely less comfortable in the hand; it always felt like it would slip from your grasp due to the tapered shape which looks great but not so good ergonomically. On our older one the pressing of a button was silent; with this one the click was actually audible consequently I like the older one better. Not sure about the battery life since we only used it once to make sure it works. Yes the price was GREAT but all in all I would rate it acceptable and not excellent. Hope this helps. PTL!

Minimal wifi signal increase
Minimal increase in wifi speed over the smaller antenna that came with the unit.
