Misleading claims by Soundtraxx
0 of 4 found this helpful I have not been able to test the Tsunami 2 decoder yet as Souindtraxx advertise this as fitting the Athearn GP38 & GP40 locos. I was going to install these DCC boards to replace the original Tsunami DCC boards installed by Athearn. When you come to install them they do not fit. The mounting holes in the Tsunami 2 is in a different place to the original Tsunami's. What a waste of $300.00! When I contacted Soundtraxx they were not helpful and suggested I wait three months while they produced Tsunami 2 decoders that will fit Athearn locos.
