Does the trick
I recently built a Fender Strat from parts. As expected, this Fender part fits correctly and performs its function. Build quality is good and it looks nice.

Fun gadget
Bought this for a white elephant party. It was actually a very desirable object. The end user loves it.

very versatile and great sound 2 channel system
First off, this was a used unit. It didn't come with an owners manual nor original packaging. The vendor packaged the unit very well and it arrived fine. Owner's manual was downloaded from ARCAM site. Need to upgrade firmware from ARCAM site which was straightforward.
This unit has a number of enticing features: 1) you can convert a channel into a fixed gain channel (which can be set) if you are integrating this as the primary L/R channels in a home theater. That way the AV receiver can control the volume on its own and balance is maintained between the two systems; 2) features like chromecast, etc makes streaming from a NAS very easy to integrate with tablets and phones (I don't use streaming services); 3) Dirac Live room acoustics compensation is a great tool to enhance sound quality, especially in the low mid/bass region which the room has a strong impact.
Sound is great, well controlled, not astringent nor analytical but very detailed. Can drive difficult speaker loads.
My main listening is analogue. However, I have an outboard phono stage so I can't comment on the in-unit phono stages (MM and MC).
Cosmetic styling of the unit is understated.
A nitpick: the labels for the various inputs are fixed and, for me, a little nonsensical. I'd like to be able to customize the labels e.g. through the units web interface. Maybe a future firmware upgrade? The downside is that the buttons on the remote use the default labels.
Even at full price new, I consider it a good value. A good condition used unit with a little user configuring is a steal at used prices.
