Definitely question this being a GM part

Remote doesnt work at all, headphones do pick up the sound but alot of static. Definitely spring for actual OEM or better aftermarket.

Absolutely flat

When I ordered this obviously i was ordering flat plate cover. But this is literally a flat piece of clear plastic with 4 holes in it. What i expected is it to be flat but with an edge around it that would allow the plate to fit inside of it. However this product will allow dirt and anything else between it and the plate because the letters and numbers on the plate are stamped outward. Definitely would be good if you wanted to apply vinyl to it and do a design or something along that line.

Way better then the red with amber turn signals

Definitely a better look and operation. Bought 2 sets of the red led taillights with the amber turn signals. Both sets came in with broken pieces, didnt fit the body right and turn signals hyper blinked thinking a bulb was out. These have the module to keep it from happening. The whole light is turn signal and brake unlike others that is top half or bottom half. The outter strip is parking lights. They also came way better packaged. Unplug your factory harness under the truck and plug these in. I do have a minor complaint with them in regards to fitment. At the top the "corner" sticks out instead of being rounded. This is on a 2013 Suburban LTZ. They probably match up great to the Escalade D pillars. For the same price as those other ones these are by far a better choice.
